Aloha Diana and Nate,
I want to thank both you and the folks you assembled
for making my wife’s 50th birthday dinner/party so completely
perfect in every respect. My wife and I keep an informal list of the top ten
dinner experiences we’ve had in the world and it’s a pretty awesome list—from a
State dinner at the White House to dinner at the foot of the Acropolis in
Greece.
After you’d gone home and our guests had settled down for the evening,
my wife told me that the evening you orchestrated rose to the top of her list
for all-time dinners. What more could I have possibly asked from you?!
Diana, you in particular did a wonderful job of
interpreting what I wanted from venue to entertainment to menus.
You did it
seamlessly with wonderful flexibility. What you said would happen, happened.
What you said would be the cost, was the cost nearly to the penny.
Nate, you are an awesome chef and produced
wonderful, imaginative dishes from hors d’oeuvres to the entrees. We challenged
you with timing but you never flinched, again as flexible as your wife.
The entertainment, from Lady Ipo to Pancho with his
guitar and base, to the very cute and talented hula girls made the evening!
Again, Diana, your judgment was spot on!
The island of Kauai is lucky to have you both!
